【브레이크뉴스 영덕】진예솔 기자=경북 북부 산불로 영덕에서만 사망자가 9명 발생했다.

산림당국은 27일 오전 11시50분께 경북 영덕군 영덕읍 매정리 인근에서사망한 산불감시원 A씨를 발견했다고 밝혔다.

산불로 인한 사망자는 대부분 60대 이상의 고령자로 빠른 대피에 어려움을 겪었을 것으로 추정된다.

빠르게 확산되는 산불로 인해 인명피해는 더 늘어날 것으로 보인다.

Nine people died in the northern Gyeongbuk wildfire in Yeongdeok alone.

The forest authorities announced that they found Mr. A, a wildfire watchman, dead near Maejeong-ri, Yeongdeok-eup, Yeongdeok-gun, Gyeongbuk at around 11:50 am on the 27th.

Most of the people who died in the wildfire were elderly people in their 60s or older, and it is presumed that they had difficulty evacuating quickly.

The number of casualties is expected to increase due to the rapidly spreading wildfire.
