【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=(재)행복북구문화재단이 배리어프리 기획 전시 ‘널 사랑해’를 개최한다고 21일 밝혔다.

오는 5월 5일부터 6월 14일까지 어울아트센터 갤러리 금호와 명봉에서 열리는 전시는 드라마 ‘우리들의 블루스’로 알려진 정은혜 작가를 포함해 박종선, 임우진, 피주헌 등 4인의 장애 예술가가 참여한다.

작가들은 각자의 방식으로 세상과 소통하며 다양한 주제의 작품 40여 점을 선보인다.

전시는 작가의 시선이 아닌 관람객의 시선에 주목하며, 감상의 주체로서 관람 태도의 중요성을 강조한다. 장애 예술에 대한 소개를 넘어, 사회 속 다양한 존재가 지닌 가치를 조명한다.

갤러리 금호에서는 회화와 드로잉 위주의 본 전시가 진행되며, 갤러리 명봉에서는 정은혜 작가의 성장과 가족 이야기를 담은 팝업북이 전시된다. 해당 팝업북은 작가의 어머니 장차현실 작가가 제작했다.

전시장에는 점자 캡션, 음성 안내, 수어 영상 등 배리어프리 요소가 적용됐으며, 전시 구조물에는 친환경 자재가 사용돼 지속가능성도 고려됐다.

주요 부대행사인 ‘은혜로운 하루’는 5월 24일 개최되며, 영화 ‘니얼굴’ 상영, 작가와의 대화, 사인회, 체험 부스 등으로 구성된다. 전시 연계프로그램으로는 콜라주 초상화 만들기, 자유 드로잉, 감각 교류 활동 등이 전시 기간 내내 운영된다.

시민이 점자 캡션 제작에 참여하는 프로그램 ‘너의 손끝으로 전하는 감각’과 5월 31일 열리는 팝업북 창작 워크숍 ‘나의 이야기, 나의 팝업북’도 진행된다.

박정숙 대표이사는 “장애와 비장애의 경계를 넘어 모두가 예술을 향유할 수 있는 환경을 만들기 위해 이번 전시를 기획했다”며, “앞으로도 포용적 전시를 지속 확대할 예정”이라고 밝혔다.

The Happy Buk-gu Cultural Foundation announced on the 21st that it will hold a barrier-free planning exhibition, “I Love You.”

The exhibition, which will be held from May 5 to June 14 at the Aul Art Center Gallery Geumho and Myeongbong, will feature four disabled artists, including artist Jeong Eun-hye, known for the drama “Our Blues,” as well as Park Jong-seon, Lim Woo-jin, and Pi Ju-heon.

The artists will present around 40 works on various themes, each communicating with the world in their own way.

The exhibition focuses on the viewer’s perspective, not the artist’s, and emphasizes the importance of the viewer’s attitude as the subject of appreciation. Beyond introducing disabled art, it sheds light on the value of various beings in society.

The main exhibition, which focuses on paintings and drawings, will be held at Gallery Geumho, while a pop-up book containing Jeong Eun-hye’s growth and family story will be exhibited at Gallery Myeongbong. The pop-up book was created by the artist’s mother, artist Jang Cha-hyeon.

The exhibition hall features barrier-free elements such as Braille captions, voice guidance, and sign language videos, and eco-friendly materials were used in the exhibition structures to ensure sustainability.

The main side event, “A Graceful Day,” will be held on May 24 and will consist of a screening of the film “Your Face,” a conversation with the author, a signing event, and an experience booth. Exhibition-related programs include collage portrait making, free drawing, and sensory exchange activities throughout the exhibition period.

The program “Senses Delivered by Your Fingertips,” where citizens participate in the creation of Braille captions, and the pop-up book creation workshop “My Story, My Pop-up Book,” which will be held on May 31, will also be held.

CEO Park Jeong-sook said, “We planned this exhibition to create an environment where everyone can enjoy art beyond the boundaries of disability and non-disability,” and added, “We plan to continue expanding inclusive exhibitions in the future.”
