【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구한의대학교가 운영 중인 우즈베키스탄 부하라세종학당이  ‘제9회 세종한국어평가(SKA)’를 시행한다.

세종학당재단이 주관하는 이번 평가는 오는 6월 28일과 29일 양일간 실시된다.

듣기, 읽기, 쓰기, 말하기 등 4개 영역으로 구성되며, 부하라 지역 한국어 학습자의 언어 능력을 종합적으로 평가한다.

SKA는 문화체육관광부 산하 세종학당재단이 주관하는 공식 한국어 의사소통 평가로, 지정된 세종학당에서만 실시된다.

2024년 개소한 부하라세종학당은 지역 내 한국어 교육 중심 기관으로 자리매김해왔으며, 이번 평가 시행을 통해 학습자의 동기 부여와 진로 설계에 실질적 기회를 제공할 계획이다.

현재 K-MEDI 한국문화 콘텐츠를 기반으로 다양한 교육 프로그램을 운영하고 있으며, 부하라 지역 사회와의 교육 협력도 병행 중이다.

변창훈 총장은 “부하라세종학당에서의 첫 세종한국어평가 시행은 단순한 시험 이상의 의미를 가진다”며, “이는 우즈베키스탄 부하라 지역의 높은 한국어 교육 수요에 부응하는 중요한 성과가 될 것이며, 더 나아가 우즈베키스탄 내 한국어 및 한국 문화 확산의 교두보 역할을 하게 될 것”이라고 밝혔다.

The Bukhara Sejong Institute, operated by Daegu University of Oriental Medicine, Uzbekistan, will conduct the ‘9th Sejong Korean Language Assessment (SKA)’.

This assessment, hosted by the Sejong Institute Foundation, will be held on June 28th and 29th.

It consists of four areas: listening, reading, writing, and speaking, and comprehensively evaluates the language skills of Korean language learners in the Bukhara region.

SKA is an official Korean language communication assessment hosted by the Sejong Institute Foundation under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and is conducted only at designated Sejong Institutes.

The Bukhara Sejong Institute, which opened in 2024, has established itself as a local Korean language education center, and plans to provide practical opportunities for learners’ motivation and career planning through this assessment.

Currently, it operates various educational programs based on K-MEDI Korean culture content, and is also conducting educational cooperation with the Bukhara local community.

Daegu Haany University President Byeon Chang-hoon said, “The first Sejong Korean Language Assessment conducted at Bukhara Sejong Institute has a meaning beyond a simple test,” and “This will be a significant achievement in meeting the high demand for Korean language education in the Bukhara region of Uzbekistan, and furthermore, it will serve as a bridgehead for the spread of Korean language and culture in Uzbekistan.”
