【브레이크뉴스 영덕】박영재 기자=영덕군은 지난 27일 노물리 방파제 일원에서 ‘경북도-영덕군 전화위복 버스 영덕 현장회의’를 열고, 산불 피해 지역의 신속한 복구와 재건 방안을 논의했다.

이날 회의에는 이철우 경상북도지사, 김광열 영덕군수, 김성호 영덕군의회 의장, 도의원, 군의원, 경북도 실국장, 주민 등 약 100여 명이 참석했다. 회의는 지난 3월 25일 발생한 초대형 산불로 큰 피해를 입은 노물리 지역의 조속한 복구 지원과 마을 재건을 위해 마련됐다.

회의에서는 ▲노물리 마을재건계획 ▲산불피해 복구계획 ▲주민 의견 수렴 및 토론 등이 진행됐다. 특히 배용수 경북도 건설도시국장이 발표한 블루로드 테마마을 조성, 전망대공원 개발, 마을 공공시설 확충 및 재정비, 마리나항 개발을 포함한 종합 재건계획이 주민들로부터 큰 호응을 얻었다.

김광열 영덕군수는 “바쁜 일정에도 불구하고 이철우 도지사께서 현장을 직접 찾아 피해 주민들과 함께해 주셔서 깊이 감사드린다”며, “오늘 수렴한 주민 의견을 복구 계획에 적극 반영하고, 경북도와 긴밀히 협력해 중앙정부와도 적극 소통해 특별법 제정과 복구비 현실화를 반드시 이끌어내겠다”고 말했다.

영덕군은 경북도와 협력해 구체적인 실행계획을 수립하고, 중앙부처와 국회를 대상으로 지속적인 지원 요청과 정책 건의를 이어갈 방침이다. 이를 통해 노물리 지역이 조속히 일상을 회복하고, 산불 피해를 전화위복의 계기로 삼을 수 있도록 총력을 기울일 계획이다.

Yeongdeok County plans to establish a specific implementation plan in cooperation with Gyeongbuk Province and continue to request support and make policy suggestions to the central government and the National Assembly.
