‘APEC 2025 정상회의 성공 기원 불꽃&드론쇼’ 현장에는 APEC 경제인들을 비롯해 시민과 국내외 관광객 등 순간 최대 5만 명, 총 누적 8만 명이 몰려 ‘빛의 도시 포항’의 위상을 한껏 드높였다.

이날 행사는 K-컬처를 대표하는 국악인 이희문 오방신과 DJ 카주쇼타임의 무대로 막을 올렸다. 이어 내빈 소개와 인사말 후 펼쳐진 ‘이아피(IAHFY)’의 그랜드 로보틱 퍼포먼스가 철의 도시 포항이 새로운 생명력으로 재탄생하는 모습을 상징적으로 표현해 관객들의 뜨거운 박수를 받았다.

시 관계자는 “대규모 인파가 몰린 만큼 교통과 안전 대응을 철저히 준비해 행사가 큰 사고 없이 성공적으로 마무리됐다”고 밝혔다.
