‘과실전문생산단지 기반조성사업’은 자유무역협정(FTA) 체결에 따른 과수산업 피해를 최소화하고 경쟁력 강화를 도모하기 위한 국비 지원사업으로, 국비 80%, 지방비 20%의 비율로 2년간 단계적으로 추진된다.

청송군은 이번 사업 선정 과정에서 엄격한 현장심사를 통과했으며, 향후 용수원 개발, 농로 확·포장, 용·배수로 설치 등 과수 생산 인프라를 체계적으로 구축해 안정적이고 경쟁력 있는 과수 생산 거점으로 육성할 방침이다.
