이번에 우수상을 수상한 ‘문희40’은 문경에서 재배된 새재청결미와 문경 오미자를 원료로 빚은 알코올 도수 40도의 전통 증류주다. 발효한 술을 다단식 증류 방식으로 정제한 뒤, 유약 처리하지 않은 전통 항아리에서 4년간 장기 숙성하고, 이후 버번 캐스트 오크통에서 1년간 추가 숙성을 거쳐 완성된다. 이를 통해 부드러운 목넘김과 곡물 본연의 깨끗한 풍미, 바닐라와 오크의 깊은 향을 조화롭게 구현한 것이 특징이다.
