【브레이크뉴스 청송】이성현 기자=청송군은 지난 17일 청송군농업기술센터 대회의실에서 수료생과 관계자 등 100여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘2025년도 청송군농업인대학 수료식’을 열고, 지역 농업의 미래를 이끌 전문 농업인 99명을 배출했다고 밝혔다.

이날 수료식에서는 ▲청송사과사관학교 제3기 38명 ▲친환경사과반 제23기 38명 ▲미래농업반 제15기 23명 등 총 3개 과정 교육생들에게 수료증이 수여됐다.

청송군농업인대학은 올해까지 친환경사과반 2,254명, 미래농업반 643명, 청송사과사관학교 139명 등 총 3,036명의 수료생을 배출하며, 지역 농업 혁신을 선도하는 전문 농업인 양성의 요람으로 자리매김하고 있다.

올해 교육과정은 지난 3월부터 12월까지 약 10개월간 과정별 76~84시간에 걸쳐 운영됐다. 이론 교육과 함께 현장 실습, 선진지 견학 등 실무 중심의 체계적인 교육을 병행해 급변하는 농업 환경에 능동적으로 대응할 수 있도록 구성됐으며, 교육생들의 높은 호응을 얻었다.

과정별로는 청송사과사관학교와 친환경사과반이 기후변화에 대응한 고품질 사과 재배 기술과 병해충 방제 등 전문 역량 강화에 중점을 뒀고, 미래농업반은 스마트팜 기술과 농업 트렌드 변화에 따른 신소득 작목 발굴 등 미래지향적 교육을 진행했다.

또한 수료식에서는 교육 기간 동안 자치활동에 적극 참여하고 면학 분위기 조성에 기여한 우수 교육생들에게 공로상을 수여하며 그간의 노고를 격려했다.

윤경희 청송군수는 “바쁜 영농 활동과 학업을 병행하며 끝까지 과정을 완주한 수료생 여러분의 열정에 깊은 박수를 보낸다”며 “농업인대학에서 습득한 전문 지식과 노하우를 바탕으로 청송 농업의 경쟁력을 높이고 지역 발전을 이끄는 핵심 리더로 성장해 주길 기대한다”고 말했다.
