이번 평가는 국비 지원 이전인 상반기 자체 발행 노력과 2차 정부 추가경정예산 이후 발행 실적을 종합적으로 고려해 이뤄졌다. 고령군은 국비 지원이 본격화되기 전부터 지역경제 활성화를 위해 군비를 적극 투입해 상품권 발행을 지속하고, 할인행사를 안정적으로 운영하는 등 지역 내 소비 촉진과 소상공인 매출 증대에 기여한 점을 높이 평가받았다.
군은 이번에 확보한 특별교부세를 지역경제 활성화와 군민 생활 안정을 위한 사업에 활용할 계획이며, 지역경제 회복을 뒷받침할 다양한 정책 추진에 투입할 방침이다.
고령군 관계자는 “고령사랑상품권은 군민에게는 할인 혜택을 제공하고, 소상공인에게는 매출 증대를, 지역에는 활력을 불어넣는 상생 정책”이라며 “2026년에도 고령사랑상품권 발행을 확대하는 등 지역경제 활성화를 위한 시책을 지속적으로 발굴·추진하겠다”고 말했다.
