이번 평가는 도내 22개 시·군을 대상으로 농업·유통·축산 분야의 정책 추진 실적과 현장 성과를 종합적으로 심사한 결과로, 문경시는 전 부문에서 균형 잡힌정책 추진과 실질적인 지표 개선을 이뤄낸 점을 높이 평가받았다.

부문별 주요 성과는 ▲농산물 산지유통시책 분야에서 농가 소득 증대의 핵심 과제인공동선별·공동출하 확대와 산지유통조직 육성 등 유통구조 개선 노력 우수, ▲농산물 직거래 분야에서 온·오프라인 판로 다변화를 통해 소비자 신뢰제고, 농업인에게 안정적인 소득 기반 제공 ▲가축방역 분야에서 구제역과 고병원성 AI 등 가축전염병 예방을 위한선제적 방역체계 구축, 철저한 현장 중심 대응으로 안정적인 축산 환경 유지가 있어 도내 우수사례로 인정받았다.

문경시는 이번 3개 분야 동시 수상을 통해 농산물 산지유통시책 200만 원, 농산물직거래 200만 원, 가축방역 100만 원 등 총 500만 원의 시상금을 확보했다.

김주원 유통축산과장은 “이번 성과는 현장 농업인과 생산자 단체, 유관기관이 한마음으로 협력한 결과”라며, “앞으로도 농산물 유통 혁신과 안전한 먹거리 공급, 안정적인 축산 환경 조성을 통해 시민과 농업인이 피부로 체감할 수 있는 실무 중심 행정을 지속 추진하겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 문경시는 이번 수상을 발판 삼아 산지유통 고도화, 직거래 채널 확대, 가축방역 강화 등 농업 전 분야에서 지속 가능한 발전 모델을 더욱 공고히 구축해 나갈 방침이다.
