【브레이크뉴스 문경】이성현 기자=문경시가 자금난으로 경영에 어려움을 겪는 지역 중소기업을 지원하기 위해 시·도비 총 222억 원 규모의 ‘2026년 중소기업 운전자금 지원사업’을 추진한다.
이번 사업은 중소기업이 금융기관을 통해 운전자금 대출을 받을 경우, 대출이자의 3%를 1년간 지원하는 이차보전 방식으로 운영된다. 농협은행과 국민은행 등 13개 협력 은행의 대출 심사를 거쳐 지원이 이뤄지며, 기업당 대출 한도는 매출 규모에 따라 최대 3억 원, 우대기업은 최대 5억 원까지 가능하다. 대출 조건은 1년 거치 후 약정 상환 방식이다.
지원 대상은 문경시에 사업장과 매출 실적을 둔 정상 운영 중인 중소기업으로, 제조업을 포함한 11개 업종이 해당된다. 신청 기간은 1월 5일부터 예산 소진 시까지다.

Mungyeong City is launching the "2026 SME Working Capital Support Project," with a total of KRW 22.2 billion in city and provincial funding, to support local SMEs facing financial difficulties.
This project will operate as a secondary guarantee, providing SMEs with 3% of the loan interest for one year when they borrow from financial institutions. Support will be granted after a loan screening process by 13 partner banks, including Nonghyup Bank and Kookmin Bank. The loan limit per company is up to KRW 300 million, depending on sales volume, and up to KRW 500 million for preferentially-qualified companies. The loan terms are a one-year grace period followed by a repayment agreement.
Eligible for support are operating SMEs with a business location and sales records in Mungyeong City, spanning 11 industries, including manufacturing. The application period will run from January 5th until the budget is exhausted.
