군은 지난 3일부터 건설새마을과장을 총괄로 새마을팀과 8개 읍·면 시설직 공무원 등 총 12명으로 구성된 합동설계반을 편성해 본격적인 활동에 들어갔으며, 오는 2월 17일까지 6주간 운영할 계획이다. 이를 통해 3월 중 사업 조기 발주를 완료하고, 예산을 신속히 집행해 지역경제에 활력을 불어넣는다는 방침이다.

이번 조기 발주 대상은 마을안길, 농로, 배수로, 세천 정비 등 총 378건으로, 전체 사업비는 111억6천만 원에 달한다. 군은 이번 사업을 통해 주민 생활 불편을 해소하고 농업 기반시설을 개선해 보다 쾌적한 영농 환경을 조성하는 데 주력할 예정이다.
