이번 교육은 진보문화체육센터와 남청송농협 안덕지점, 청송문화예술회관 등 권역별 교육장에서 열렸으며, 지역 농업인의 영농계획 수립과 생산성 향상, 소득 증대를 지원하기 위한 핵심 농업 교육 프로그램으로 운영됐다.

새해농업인 실용교육은 매년 주요 작목을 중심으로 실질적인 재배기술과 최신 농업 정보를 제공하는 과정으로, 올해는 사과와 고추, 식량작물을 중심으로 종합적인 교육이 이뤄졌다.

이번 교육에는 관내 농업인 720여 명이 참여해 지역 대표 작목의 핵심 재배기술과 병해충 방제법, 화상병 약제 방제 요령 등을 집중적으로 학습했으며, 작물 재배 기술에 대한 이해도와 현장 적용 능력을 높이는 데 중점을 두었다. 아울러 정부 농업정책과 직불제에 대한 이해 등 농업인이 반드시 알아야 할 제도 교육도 함께 진행됐다.

청송군 관계자는 “이번 교육을 통해 농업인의 기술 수준을 한 단계 끌어올리고, 앞으로도 안정적인 농업경영 기반을 마련하는 데 실질적인 도움이 되도록 다양한 교육을 지속적으로 추진하겠다”고 말했다.
