【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=한국수력원자력(주) 한울원자력본부(본부장 이세용, 이하 한울본부)는 지난 22일 울진군청에서 에너지 취약계층을 위한 난방비 지원금 3,150만 원을 전달했다고 밝혔다.

이번 지원금은 한울본부 직원들과 회사가 함께 조성한 ‘민들레홀씨기금’으로 마련됐으며, 관내 취약계층 300세대와 사회복지시설 12개소의 난방비 지원에 사용될 예정이다.

손병복 울진군수는 “한울본부의 난방비 지원은 겨울철 한파로 어려움을 겪는 울진 주민들에게 큰 힘이 될 것”이라며 “지역사회를 위한 지속적인 관심과 나눔에 감사드린다”고 말했다.

이에 대해 이세용 한울원자력본부장은 “직원들의 자발적인 참여로 조성된 기금이 지역 내 꼭 필요한 곳에 사용돼 더욱 의미가 크다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회에 온기를 전하는 나눔 활동을 지속적으로 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.
