상대동 체육회는 지난 2월 12일 상대동 주민센터를 찾아 명절을 맞아 어려움을 겪고 있는 이웃들에게 전달해 달라며 후원물품을 기탁했다. 이날 전달식에는 체육회 임원들과 상대동 주민센터 관계자들이 함께해 지역 나눔 문화 확산의 의미를 더했다.

체육회는 매년 명절마다 지역 내 취약계층을 위한 후원 활동을 이어오고 있으며, 올해 역시 경기 침체와 물가 상승 등으로 어려움을 겪는 이웃들에게 조금이나마 보탬이 되기를 바라는 마음을 담아 이번 나눔을 준비했다.

이동율 회장은 “설 명절을 맞아 주변의 어려운 이웃들이 조금 더 따뜻한 명절을 보내길 바라는 마음으로 회원들이 뜻을 모았다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회와 함께하는 체육회로서 나눔과 봉사를 꾸준히 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.

이에 대해 이승환 상대동장은 “매년 잊지 않고 이웃사랑을 실천해 주는 상대동 체육회에 깊이 감사드린다”며 “기탁해 주신 물품은 지역 내 도움이 꼭 필요한 가정에 소중히 전달하겠다”고 말했다.
