도는 발생 농장에서 사육 중인 산란계 약 10만 수에 대해 긴급 살처분을 실시했으며, 역학 관련 차량과 시설에 대해서는 소독 이행 여부 점검과 정밀검사를 병행하고 있다. 또한 농장 입구와 관리지역에 통제초소를 설치해 차량과 사람의 출입을 엄격히 통제 중이다.

동절기마다 유행하는 고병원성 조류인플루엔자는 전파력이 높은 것으로 알려져 있다. 이에 따라 도는 주요 도로와 축사 인근을 중심으로 집중 소독을 실시하고, 축산 농가에는 축사 내·외부 소독 강화와 차단방역 수칙 준수를 거듭 안내하고 있다.

황명석 경상북도 행정부지사는 19일 봉화군 농업기술센터에서 긴급 가축방역대책회의를 주재하고 “신속한 살처분과 함께 축산농가에서도 농장 내 사람과 차량 출입을 철저히 관리해 추가 확산을 막는 데 적극 협조해 달라”고 당부했다.

Gyeongsangbuk-do Vice Governor Hwang Myeong-seok presided over an emergency livestock quarantine meeting at the Bonghwa County Agricultural Technology Center on the 19th and requested, “In addition to swift culling, livestock farms should also actively cooperate to prevent further spread by thoroughly managing the entry and exit of people and vehicles within the farms.”
