【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=(재) 행복북구문화재단 어울아트센터가 지역 미술 단체와 협업한 초대전을 통해 지역 작가들의 작품을 시민들에게 선보인다.
행복북구문화재단은 오는 16일부터 28일까지 어울아트센터 갤러리 금호에서 대구북구미술협회 초대전 ‘평화, 공존의 풍경’을 개최한다고 5일 밝혔다. 이번 전시에서는 지역 작가들의 회화, 공예, 조각, 서예 등 다양한 장르의 작품 49점이 전시되며 시민 누구나 무료로 관람할 수 있다.
이번 전시는 대구북구미술협회의 창작 활동을 소개하고 지역 미술 생태계의 교류를 확대하기 위해 마련됐다. 대구북구미술협회 소속 작가 33명을 비롯해 군위군미술협회 작가 10명, 창작프로젝트팀 ‘나비(NA-BE)’ 소속 작가 6명이 참여해 총 49점의 작품을 선보인다.
특히 올해 전시는 군위 지역 미술단체와 창작 프로젝트팀이 함께 참여하면서 지역 간 문화 교류의 폭을 넓혔다는 점에서 의미를 더한다. 참여 작가들은 ‘평화, 공존의 풍경’을 주제로 지역과 삶, 자연이 어우러지는 모습을 각자의 시선과 다양한 매체로 표현했다.
채정균 대구북구미술협회 회장은 “예술가들이 품은 희망과 다짐을 작품으로 나누는 자리가 되길 바란다”며 “이번 전시가 지역 예술가들이 서로의 시선과 이야기를 교환하는 계기가 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.
박정숙 행복북구문화재단 대표이사는 “지역 미술의 성장과 시민과의 소통을 위해 다양한 전시와 지원을 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.
전시는 갤러리 금호에서 월요일부터 토요일까지 오전 10시부터 오후 6시까지 무료로 관람할 수 있다. 개막식은 16일 오후 5시에 열린다.

This year's exhibition is particularly significant for its collaboration with local Gunwi art organizations and creative project teams, broadening the scope of cultural exchange between the regions. The participating artists expressed the harmony of local communities, life, and nature through their own perspectives and diverse media under the theme of "Landscape of Peace and Coexistence."
Chae Jeong-gyun, President of the Daegu Buk-gu Art Association, said, "I hope this exhibition will serve as a platform for artists to share their hopes and commitments through their works. I also hope this exhibition will serve as an opportunity for local artists to exchange perspectives and stories."
Park Jeong-sook, CEO of the Happy Buk-gu Cultural Foundation, stated, "We will continue to provide diverse exhibitions and support to foster the growth of local art and foster communication with citizens."
The exhibition is open to the public free of charge at Gallery Kumho, Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The opening ceremony will be held at 5:00 PM on the 16th.
