【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구시장과 경북도지사를 선출하는 6.3 지방선거에 출마하기 위해 국민의힘에 공천을 신청한 지역 인사는 대구시장 9명, 경북도지사 6명으로 집계됐다.

국민의힘 중앙당이 8일 오후 10시까지 후보 공천 신청을 받은 결과 대구에서는 김한구(67년생)유영하(62년생)윤재옥(61년생)이재만(59년생)이진숙(61년생)주호영(60년생)최은석(67년생)추경호(60년생)홍석준(66년생) 등이었다. 

또, 경북에서는 김재원(64년생)백승주(61년생)이강덕(62년생)이철우(55년생)임이자(64년생)최경환(55년생) 등 6명이 신청자 명단에 올랐다. 

대구광역시장, 현역 없는 무주공산에 9명 무더기 신청

김한구 - 경북대학교 경영대학원에서 마케팅을 수료하고, 전 현대자동차 노동조합 대의원, 前 유가읍 이장연합회 부회장, 前 달성군 새마을협의회 감사를 지냈다. 

유영하 - 현 달서구 갑 지역 국회의원으로 연세대학교 행정학과를 졸업한 뒤, 인천지검에서 특수부검사를 지냈다. 이후 국가인권위원회상임위원(차관급)을 역임했다. 

윤재옥 - 동국대학교 대학원 경찰행정학과 박사과정 수료 후 국민의힘 원내대표를 지냈고, 국민의힘 당대표 권한대행을 역임했다. 21대 대선에서는 국민의힘 총괄선대본부장을 맡았다. 

이재만 - 영남대학교 경영대학원 경영학 석사 졸업, 現 장풍2030대구지부장, 前 제25,26대 대구광역시 동구청장, 자유한국당 최고위원을 맡은 바 있다.

이진숙 - 서강대학교 언론학 석사 졸업, 前 방송통신위원회 위원장과 그 전에는  MBC 보도본부장과 대전 MBC사장을 역임했다.

주호영 – 6선의 현역 국회의원으로 영남대학교 대학원 법학 박사 졸업했다. 현 국회부의장을 맡고 있고, 前 국민의힘 원내대표 및 이명박 정권 시절 초대 특임장관을 지냈다. 

최은석 - 서울대학교 대학원 경영학과를 수료하고 前 CJ제일제당 대표이사 사장, 2024년 국회로 진출해 국민의힘 원내수석대변인과 국민의힘 원내대표 비서실장을 지냈다. 

추경호 – 3선 국회의원으로 미국 오리건대학교 대학원 경제학 졸업했다. 전 경제부총리 겸 기획재정부장관을 역임했으며, 국민의힘 원내대표를 지냈다. 

홍석준 - 서울대학교 행정대학원을 졸업했고, 現 계명대학교 특임교수로 재직중이며 21대 국회의원을 지냈다. 그 전에는 대구광역시 경제국장을 역임했다.

경북도지사, 현 이철우 도지사에 5명 출사표

김재원 - 서울대학교 행정대학원 행정학 졸업했다. 現 국민의힘 최고위원을 맡고 있고, 前 청와대 정무수석, 前 국회 예산결산특별위원장 등 당 내외 굵직한 자리에 이름을 올려 왔다.

백승주 - 부산대학교 대학원 석사 졸업이다. 前 국회의원(구미갑)으로, 그전에 국방부 차관, 전쟁기념사업회 회장을 역임했다. 

이강덕 - 동국대학교 대학원 법학과 박사 수료했다. 제7,8,9대 경북 포항시장을 역임했으며, 前 전국대도시시장협의회 회장과 포항시장 전에는 제12대 해양경찰청장을 역임했다. 

이철우 - 연세대학교 행정대학원 정치학 석사 졸업했다. 現 경상북도지사이면서 대한민국시도지사 협의회장을 역임했으며 도지사 이전에는 18,19,20대 국회의원을 지냈다. 

임이자 - 고려대학교 노동대학원(노동법) 법학석사 졸업했다. 문경상주 지역구 국회의원으로 국회서는 노동 전문가로 알려져 있다. 現 국회 재정경제기획위원장으로 활동하고 있고, 前 국민의힘 경북도당 위원장을 맡은 바 있다. 

최경환 - 미국 위스콘신대학교 대학원 경제학 박사 졸업했다. 前 경제부총리 겸 기획재정부장관을 지낼만큼 경제전문가로 알려져 있고 경산 지역을 지역구로 두고 경산 발전을 누구보다 현실화시킨 장본인이다. 前 새누리당 원내대표와 4선 국회의원을 지냈다.

 Nine local figures have applied for the People Power Party's nomination to run for the Daegu mayor and Gyeongsangbuk-do governor in the June 3 local elections. Kim Han-goo - He completed his marketing degree at Kyungpook National University's Graduate School of Business Administration and served as a delegate to the Hyundai Motor Company Labor Union, former Vice President of the Yuga-eup Village Chiefs' Association, and former auditor of the Dalseong County Saemaul Movement Council.

Yoo Young-ha - Currently a National Assembly member representing Dalseo District A, he graduated from Yonsei University's Department of Public Administration and served as a special prosecutor at the Incheon District Prosecutors' Office. He later served as a standing member (Vice Minister level) of the National Human Rights Commission of Korea.

Yoon Jae-ok - After completing his doctorate in Police Administration at Dongguk University Graduate School, he served as the floor leader of the People Power Party and then as its acting leader. He served as the People Power Party's general election headquarters director during the 21st presidential election.

Lee Jae-man - He holds a master's degree in business administration from Yeungnam University's Graduate School of Business Administration and currently serves as the head of the Jangpung 2030 Daegu branch, former mayor of Dong-gu District in Daegu for the 25th and 26th terms, and a member of the Liberty Korea Party's Supreme Council.

Lee Jin-sook - A six-term incumbent National Assembly member with a master's degree in journalism from Sogang University, he served as the former Chairman of the Korea Communications Commission and, prior to that, as the Director of the MBC News Bureau and President of Daejeon MBC.

Joo Ho-young - A six-term incumbent National Assembly member with a doctorate in law from Yeungnam University. He is currently the Vice Speaker of the National Assembly and served as the former floor leader of the People Power Party and the first Special Minister under the Lee Myung-bak administration.

Choi Eun-seok - A graduate of Seoul National University's Graduate School of Business Administration and former CEO and President of CJ CheilJedang, he was elected to the National Assembly in 2024 and served as the People Power Party's Chief Spokesperson and Chief of Staff to the party's floor leader.

Choo Kyung-ho - A three-term National Assembly member with a master's degree in economics from the University of Oregon. He served as the former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Strategy and Finance, and as the floor leader of the People Power Party.

Hong Seok-joon - A graduate of Seoul National University's Graduate School of Public Administration, he is currently a special professor at Keimyung University, and served as a member of the 21st National Assembly. Prior to that, he served as the Director of the Economic Bureau of Daegu Metropolitan City.

Governor of North Gyeongsang Province

Kim Jae-won - He graduated from Seoul National University's Graduate School of Public Administration with a degree in Public Administration. He is currently a member of the People Power Party's Supreme Council and has held prominent positions both within and outside the party, including as the former Senior Secretary to the President for Political Affairs and the former Chairman of the National Assembly's Special Committee on Budget and Accounts.

Baek Seung-joo - He holds a master's degree from Pusan ​​National University. He is a former member of the National Assembly (Gumi A), and previously served as Vice Minister of National Defense and Chairman of the War Memorial of Korea.

Lee Kang-deok - He holds a doctorate in law from Dongguk University. He served as the 7th, 8th, and 9th Mayor of Pohang, North Gyeongsang Province. He was also the former Chairman of the National Association of Metropolitan Mayors and, before becoming Mayor of Pohang, the 12th Commissioner of the Korea Coast Guard.

Lee Cheol-woo - He holds a master's degree in Political Science from Yonsei University's Graduate School of Public Administration. He is the current Governor of Gyeongsangbuk-do and served as Chairman of the Korean Association of Provincial Governors. Prior to his appointment, he served as a member of the 18th, 19th, and 20th National Assembly.

Im I-ja - He holds a Master's degree in Labor Law from Korea University's Graduate School of Labor Studies. As a member of the National Assembly representing the Mungyeong-Sangju district, he is known as a labor expert in the National Assembly. He currently serves as the Chairman of the National Assembly's Finance and Economic Planning Committee and was formerly the Chairman of the Gyeongbuk Provincial Chapter of the People Power Party.

Choi Kyung-hwan - He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin. He is known as an economic expert, having served as the former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Strategy and Finance. He is the driving force behind the Gyeongsan region's development, having designated it as his constituency. He served as the former Saenuri Party floor leader and a four-term National Assembly member.
