【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구한의대학교가 자연 기반 치유산업 연구를 체계적으로 추진하기 위한 학술단체를 공식 출범시켰다.

대구한의대학교(총장 변창훈)는 지난 14일 경북 청도군 신화랑풍류마을에서 ‘대한치유산업학회’ 발대식을 개최하고 학회 출범을 선언했다.

이번 학회는 치유산업 분야의 학문적 기반을 강화하고 연구자와 현장 전문가를 연결하는 학술 플랫폼 구축을 목표로 한다. 특히 대학 내 치유산업학과를 중심으로 한 연구 네트워크를 기반으로 한다는 점에서 의미가 크다.

대한치유산업학회는 치유농업, 산림치유, 해양치유, 치유관광, 원예치유, 치유심리, 인문치유 등 자연과 인간의 회복을 아우르는 다양한 분야를 통합하는 학술단체다. 향후 연구·정책·교육을 연계하는 전문 학문 공동체로 발전할 것으로 기대된다.

최근 고령화 심화와 정신건강 문제 증가, 삶의 질 향상에 대한 관심 확대에 따라 자연 기반 치유 프로그램과 치유산업에 대한 수요가 빠르게 증가하고 있다. 치유농업과 산림치유, 치유관광 등은 지역 자원을 활용한 미래 산업 모델로 주목받고 있다.

학회는 앞으로 치유농업, 산림치유, 해양치유, 치유관광 등 분야별 융합 연구를 추진하고, 학술대회와 연구 교류를 통해 연구 기반을 확대할 계획이다. 또한 연구 성과를 체계적으로 축적하기 위한 전문 학술지 발간도 추진한다.

초대 학회장으로 추대된 권기찬 교수는 “치유산업은 삶의 질 향상과 사회적 회복을 지원하는 미래 산업”이라며 “학문적 정체성을 확립하고 연구와 현장을 연결하는 중심 플랫폼이 되도록 하겠다”고 밝혔다.

김형근 사무총장도 “치유산업은 자연과 인간, 인문학과 과학이 결합된 융합 분야”라며 “학회가 연구와 산업 현장을 연결하는 핵심 역할을 수행할 것”이라고 말했다.

이번 학회 출범은 치유산업 분야 연구자와 전문가가 참여하는 학문 공동체의 출발점으로, 향후 관련 연구와 산업 발전을 견인하는 기반이 될 것으로 기대된다.

Professor Kwon Ki-chan, who was elected as the inaugural president of the Society, stated, "The healing industry is a future industry that supports the improvement of the quality of life and social recovery," adding, "We will establish an academic identity and strive to become a central platform connecting research with the field."

Secretary General Kim Hyung-geun also remarked, "The healing industry is a convergence field combining nature and humans, as well as humanities and science," and stated, "The Society will play a key role in connecting research with the industrial field." The launch of this academic society marks the beginning of an academic community involving researchers and experts in the healing industry, and is expected to serve as a foundation for driving related research and industrial development in the future.
