【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=행복북구문화재단과 구수산도서관이 지역민의 일상 속 문화예술 향유 기회를 넓히기 위해 ‘구수산 아틀리에 전시’를 연중 운영한다.

구수산 아틀리에는 도서관 지하 1층에 마련됐다. 이곳에서는 연간 10회가량의 릴레이 전시가 이어진다. 각 전시는 약 2주 동안 순차적으로 진행된다.

현재는 지난 7일부터 대구수묵회화연구회가 ‘수묵의 향기전’을 열고 있다. 오는 22일까지 이어지는 이번 전시에서는 한국의 자연 풍경을 담은 수묵화 작품들이 선보인다. 전통 한국화 특유의 정취가 시민들에게 전달되고 있다.

구수산도서관은 올해 상반기에도 지역 작가 회화전, 한글 손편지 공모전 수상작 전시, 유화 작품전 등 다양한 전시를 잇달아 마련해 주민들로부터 호응을 얻었다.

하반기에도 다채로운 전시가 계속된다. 11월까지 어린이 창작 작품을 소개하는 ‘렘브란트의 풍차 어린이 작가전’을 비롯해 소미준 작가의 전통 매듭 작품전, 촉감 동화책 전시, 윤명희 작가의 보타니컬 아트와 민화 전시, 꽃그림 동호회 ‘꽃마중’의 10월 항쟁 기억 소품전, 상록뇌성마비복지관의 뇌성마비 장애인 사진전 등이 이어질 예정이다.

도서관 관계자는 “단순한 전시 공간을 넘어, 지역 예술가와 주민이 자연스럽게 어울릴 수 있는 생활문화 플랫폼 역할을 강화하고 있다”고 밝혔다. 이어 “전문 전시관을 찾기 힘든 주민들도 도서관을 찾는 길에 쉽게 문화예술을 접할 수 있어 생활밀착형 문화 공간으로 자리매김하고 있다”고 덧붙였다.

구수산도서관 관계자는 “아틀리에 전시를 통해 지역 예술가들에게 전시 기회를 제공하고, 주민들이 일상에서 자연스럽게 문화예술을 만날 수 있기를 기대한다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회와 함께하는 다양한 전시 프로그램을 꾸준히 선보이겠다”고 말했다.

The Happy Bukgu Cultural Foundation and Gususan Library are operating the "Gususan Atelier Exhibition" year-round to expand opportunities for local residents to enjoy culture and art in their daily lives.

The Gususan Atelier is located on the first basement floor of the library. Approximately 10 relay exhibitions are held here annually. Each exhibition takes place sequentially for about two weeks.

Currently, the Daegu Ink Painting Research Association has been holding the "Fragrance of Ink" exhibition since the 7th. Running until the 22nd, this exhibition showcases ink paintings capturing Korea's natural landscapes. The unique atmosphere of traditional Korean painting is being conveyed to the citizens.

In the first half of this year, Gususan Library received a positive response from residents by successively organizing various exhibitions, including a painting exhibition by local artists, an exhibition of winning entries from a Hangeul handwritten letter contest, and an oil painting exhibition.

A variety of exhibitions will continue in the second half of the year. A series of exhibitions is scheduled to continue until November, including the ‘Rembrandt’s Windmill Children’s Artist Exhibition’ showcasing children’s creative works, an exhibition of traditional knotwork by artist So Mi-jun, a tactile storybook exhibition, botanical art and folk painting exhibitions by artist Yoon Myung-hee, a small-scale exhibition commemorating the October Uprising by the flower painting club ‘Kkotmajung,’ and a photography exhibition by the Sangnok Cerebral Palsy Welfare Center featuring people with cerebral palsy.

A library official stated, “We are strengthening our role as a lifestyle culture platform where local artists and residents can naturally mingle, going beyond a simple exhibition space.” They added, “It is establishing itself as a community-oriented cultural space where residents who find it difficult to visit professional exhibition halls can easily access culture and art on their way to the library.”

An official from Gususan Library said, “Through the Atelier exhibitions, we hope to provide exhibition opportunities for local artists and allow residents to naturally encounter culture and art in their daily lives,” adding, “We will continue to consistently present diverse exhibition programs in collaboration with the local community.”
