【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=한국수력원자력(한수원)이 중소기업의 인공지능(AI) 경쟁력 강화를 위한 전문 교육과정을 마무리하며 디지털 전환 지원에 속도를 내고 있다.

한수원은 15일 서울 한국생산성본부 교육원에서 ‘중소기업 인공지능(AI) 역량 강화 프로그램’의 일환으로 운영한 AI 특화교육 과정 수료식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 중소기업 임직원을 대상으로 산업 현장에서 AI 기술을 즉시 활용할 수 있는 실무형 인재 양성을 목표로 진행됐다.

교육과정은 수준별 3단계 체계로 구성됐다. 기초과정에서는 인공지능 개념 이해와 최신 기술 동향을 다뤘고, 기본과정에서는 생성형 AI 활용 실습 중심 교육이 이뤄졌다. 심화과정은 실제 산업현장 적용 사례를 중심으로 운영해 현업 활용도를 높이는 데 초점을 맞췄다.

특히 이론 전달에 그치지 않고 현장 적용성과 실습 비중을 강화한 결과, 기초과정 120명, 기본과정 67명, 심화과정 60명 등 총 247명의 수료생을 배출했다.

한수원은 이번 교육이 중소기업의 AI 기반 업무 혁신을 촉진하고 생산성 향상과 비용 절감 등 실질적인 경영 성과 창출로 이어질 것으로 기대하고 있다.

아울러 단발성 교육에 그치지 않고 AI 컨설팅과 현장 시범 적용(PoC), 맞춤형 AI 솔루션 구축 지원 등 후속 사업과 연계해 중소기업의 AI 도입 전 과정을 체계적으로 지원할 방침이다.

박천중 한수원 상생협력처장은 “이번 교육은 중소기업이 빠르게 변화하는 디지털 환경에 능동적으로 대응할 수 있는 중요한 기반이 될 것”이라며 “앞으로도 중소기업의 AI 전환을 적극 지원해 국가 산업 경쟁력 강화에 기여하겠다”고 말했다.

KHNP announced on the 15th that it held a completion ceremony for a specialized AI training course, operated as part of the "SME AI Capability Enhancement Program," at the Korea Productivity Center in Seoul.

This training was conducted for employees of SMEs with the goal of cultivating practical talent capable of immediately utilizing AI technology in the industrial field.

The curriculum was structured into a three-level system based on proficiency. The basic course covered an understanding of AI concepts and the latest technological trends, while the fundamental course focused on practical training in the application of generative AI. The advanced course was operated around real-world industrial application cases, focusing on increasing practical applicability in the workplace.
