중구에는 국립 구국운동기념관 등 정신문화 기념관 건립, 동인동 시청사 후적지 행정·문화 복합타운 조성, 서문시장 4지구 재건축 조기 완공, 동성로 활성화 등이 포함됐다. 또한 전통시장과 청년을 연결하는 온라인 유통지원센터 설립을 통해 ‘인구 10만의 스마트시티 중구’를 만들겠다고 밝혔다.

동구에는 대구경북신공항과 K-2 공군기지 이전 가속화, 그 후적지를 글로벌 신성장 거점으로 육성하는 방안이 기초 공약으로 제시됐다. 이밖에 도시철도 3호선의 혁신도시 연장, 4호선의 모노레일 전환 검토, 제2대구의료원 건립, 팔공산·금호강 문화관광벨트 조성 등도 거론됐다.
