【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=개혁신당이 6·3 지방선거를 앞두고 대구선거대책위원회를 공식 출범시키며 정치권 교체와 양당 체제 심판을 강하게 내세웠다.

개혁신당 대구선거대책위원회는 오는 20일 오전 11시 대구시의회 2층 회의실에서 선대위 발족 기자회견을 연다고 18일 밝혔다.

선대위원장에는 이수찬 대구시장 후보가 선임됐다. 개혁신당은 전략, 조직, 청년, 정책, 공보미디어 등 분야별로 조직을 구성해 본격적인 선거 체제에 돌입할 계획이다.

이 후보는 이날 발표한 회견문에서 “현재 대구는 청년의 유출, 산업의 침체, 시민 생활의 어려움 등 중대한 갈림길에 서 있다”며 “이 같은 상황은 지난 30년간 거대 양당 정치가 지속된 결과”라고 비판했다.

이어 “이번 지방선거에서도 같은 선택이 반복된다면 대구의 미래는 암울해질 수밖에 없다”며 “낡은 정치의 굴레를 벗어나 시민 중심의 새로운 대구를 만들겠다”고 말했다.

개혁신당은 핵심 공약으로 군 공항 이전과 민간공항 존치, 교통·교육·주거·복지 중심의 실용 정치, 거대 양당 독점구조 견제 및 경쟁체제 구축 등을 내세웠다.

또 “정치는 시민 삶을 실질적으로 바꾸는 힘이 되어야 한다”며 “말뿐인 정치가 아닌, 결과를 만들어내는 정치, 진영논리가 아닌 시민의 상식과 미래를 최우선으로 하는 정치를 실현하겠다”고 강조했다.

이 후보 측은 “대구선대위는 시민들 곁으로 한 걸음 더 다가가 직접 목소리를 듣고 현장에서 해답을 찾겠다”며 “대구 변화의 시작을 시민과 함께 만들어가겠다”고 밝혔다.
