이들은 더불어민주당에 대해서도 "정치 논리로 지역민을 압박하는 방식은 민주주의 발전에 도움이 되지 않는다"며, 지방권력의 균형 회복을 강조했다.

추 후보 캠프 측은 "법조계 원로와 중견·청년 변호사들이 한뜻으로 힘을 모아주신 데 감사를 전한다"며, "법치와 상식, 균형 잡힌 시정 운영으로 시민 기대에 보답하겠다"고 밝혔다.
