이번 사업은 공식 행정문서나 기존 역사기록에 담기 어려운 지역 어르신들의 생생한 삶의 이야기를 구술 형태로 채록해 청송의 소중한 문화·역사 자산으로 보존하기 위해 마련됐다.

그동안 한국 근현대사 기록은 국가와 사회 구조 중심으로 축적돼 온 반면, 지방 고유의 생활사와 개인의 삶의 흔적은 상대적으로 주목받지 못했다. 이에 청송군은 고령화로 인해 점차 사라져가는 주민들의 기억과 일상을 공동체의 역사로 남기기 위한 기록화 작업을 꾸준히 이어오고 있다.

군은 이번 사업을 통해 명당리의 형성과 변천 과정, 생활환경 변화 등 마을의 역사적 배경을 면밀히 조사할 계획이다. 아울러 구술기록 전문가가 주민들과 심층 면담을 진행해 삶의 궤적과 시대적 경험을 체계적으로 정리할 예정이다.

특히 가정마다 보관돼 있는 오래된 사진과 생활자료 등 시각 기록물도 함께 발굴해 주민들의 추억과 시대상을 보다 입체적으로 담아낼 방침이다. 수집된 자료는 향후 주민들의 삶과 애환, 공동체의 변화상을 담은 스토리북으로 제작될 예정이다.

청송군 관계자는 “세월이 흐르며 사라질 수 있는 어르신들의 기억을 기록으로 남기는 일은 지역의 정체성을 지키는 중요한 작업”이라며 “제4차 사업을 통해 안덕면 명당리 주민들의 삶의 발자취와 공동체의 역사를 정성껏 기록해 청송의 소중한 문화자산으로 계승해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

Through this project, the county plans to thoroughly investigate the historical background of the village, including the formation and transformation of Myeongdang-ri and changes in the living environment. Furthermore, oral history experts will conduct in-depth interviews with residents to systematically organize their life trajectories and experiences of the times.
