【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=울진군이 지역 산업구조와 고용 현황을 종합적으로 파악하기 위한 ‘2025년 기준 경제총조사’를 오는 6월 1일부터 7월 22일까지 실시한다.

경제총조사는 국가통계 작성기관과 지방자치단체가 협력해 전국 산업 전반의 고용과 생산, 사업체 운영 현황 등을 조사하는 국가 승인 통계로, 5년마다 시행된다. 이번 조사에는 무인 매장과 인공지능(AI) 활용, 스마트농장 운영 여부 등 급변하는 산업 환경을 반영한 신규 항목이 처음 포함됐다.

조사 대상은 2025년 12월 31일 기준 울진군 내에서 산업활동을 하고 있는 약 4,127개 사업체다. 조사는 온라인과 현장 방문 방식으로 병행해 진행된다.

먼저 6월 1일부터 30일까지는 인터넷과 모바일을 활용한 비대면 온라인 조사가 실시된다. 이어 6월 12일부터 7월 22일까지는 조사원이 사업체를 직접 방문해 대면조사를 진행할 예정이다.

온라인 참여는 경제총조사 공식 홈페이지를 통해 가능하며, 사전 안내문과 콜센터를 통해 부여받은 참여번호와 접속번호를 입력하면 된다. 자세한 사항은 경제총조사 홈페이지와 울진군청 홈페이지에서 확인할 수 있으며, 전용 콜센터(080-700-2025)를 통해 안내받을 수 있다.

조사를 통해 수집된 모든 정보는 통계법 제33조에 따라 철저히 보호되며, 통계 작성 목적 외에는 사용할 수 없다. 조사 결과는 올해 12월 잠정 발표를 거쳐 2027년 6월 최종 확정·공표될 예정이다.

울진군 관계자는 “경제총조사는 단순한 통계 수집을 넘어 지역 경제정책 수립과 경쟁력 강화를 위한 핵심 기초자료”라며 “정확한 조사 결과가 지역 발전 전략의 밑거름이 되는 만큼 관내 사업체의 적극적인 참여와 협조를 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
