대구신용보증재단은 26일 대구 달성군 현풍백년도깨비시장에서 대구달성경찰서, KB국민은행 달성종합금융센터와 함께 ‘제3자 부당개입 근절 캠페인’을 진행했다.
이날 캠페인은 신용보증부 대출을 빌미로 수수료나 착수금을 요구하는 불법 브로커 피해를 막기 위해 마련됐다. 재단은 시장 상인과 소상공인들에게 주요 사기 수법과 신고 방법을 안내했다.
재단 관계자는 “대출을 도와주겠다며 먼저 돈을 요구하는 것은 100% 사기”라며 “신용보증재단 보증부 대출에는 공식 수수료가 없지만, 브로커들이 ‘보증 승인 보장’, ‘특별 심사 연결’ 등을 미끼로 접근해 금전을 요구하는 사례가 반복되고 있다”고 설명했다.
현장에서는 허위 서류 작성 유도, 착수금 요구, 공공기관 직원 사칭, 보험상품 끼워팔기 등 실제 피해 사례도 소개됐다. 관계기관들은 문자메시지, 계좌이체 내역, 통화 녹음 등 증거를 남기는 것이 중요하다고 강조했다.
불법 브로커가 의심되는 경우 신용보증재단중앙회 불법브로커 신고센터(044-270-4200~10)나 QR코드를 통해 익명 신고가 가능하다.
박진우 대구신용보증재단 이사장은 "소상공인의 절박한 사정을 악용하는 불법 행위는 반드시 근절돼야 한다"며 "경찰, 금융기관과 협력을 강화해 전통시장과 골목상권 중심의 현장 홍보를 지속적으로 확대하겠다"고 밝혔다.
경찰 관계자도 “조금이라도 의심되면 즉시 신고하고, 통화 녹음 등 관련 증거를 꼭 보존해 달라”며 “시민들의 제보가 수사와 피해 예방에 큰 역할을 한다”고 말했다.
