한국수력원자력은 지난 1일부터 2일까지 이틀간 충남 아산시에 위치한 한국표준협회에서 협력사 품질 담당자를 대상으로 원자력 품질교육 심화과정을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육에는 약 30개 협력사에서 40여 명의 품질부서 직원이 참가했으며, 원자력 품질보증 체계와 일반규격품검증(CGID), 주요 품질 지적 사례 등 실무 중심의 교육이 이뤄졌다.

특히 한수원은 교육 효과를 높이기 위해 올해부터 협력사 의견을 반영해 교육 시간을 기존 8시간에서 16시간으로 확대했다. 또한 실제 업무 현장에서 활용할 수 있도록 다양한 사례를 중심으로 교육 과정을 구성해 실효성을 높였다.

앞서 진행된 상반기 기초과정에는 184개 기업에서 300여 명이 참여해 교육을 수료했으며, 하반기에는 이번 심화과정을 시작으로 재료·용접 기술기준 교육과 온라인 교육 프로그램도 추가 운영할 계획이다.

이를 통해 협력사 품질 담당자들의 전문성을 높이고 원자력 산업 전반의 품질 수준 향상에 기여한다는 방침이다.

교육 과정에서는 청렴리더십 강의도 함께 진행됐다. 한수원과 협력사는 품질 확보뿐 아니라 윤리경영과 청렴 문화 정착 역시 중요한 가치라는 데 공감하며 상생 협력을 강화하기로 했다.

소순규 한수원 품질보증처장은 “원자력발전소의 안전한 운영을 위해서는 무엇보다 품질 확보가 중요하다”며 “임직원 모두가 품질시스템의 중요성을 깊이 인식하고 한수원과 협력사가 함께 품질 경쟁력 향상에 힘써야 한다”고 말했다.

한편 한수원은 원자력 산업계의 품질 수준 제고를 위해 지난 2012년부터 협력사를 대상으로 원자력 품질교육을 무료로 운영해 오고 있다. 앞으로도 품질협의회 운영과 품질 멘토링 등 다양한 지원사업을 통해 원전 산업 생태계의 품질 경쟁력 강화에 지속적으로 나설 계획이다.

KHNP announced that it conducted an advanced nuclear quality training course for quality managers from partner companies at the Korean Standards Association in Asan, South Chungcheong Province, for two days from the 1st to the 2nd.
