영덕군은 오는 13일 오후 6시부터 10시까지 별파랑공원 일원에서 야간 관광축제 ‘별빛 따라 걷는 영덕의 밤’을 개최한다고 밝혔다. 이번 행사는 영덕군이 주최하고 영덕문화관광재단이 주관한다.

‘별빛 따라 걷는 영덕의 밤’은 영덕의 밤 풍경과 자연환경을 활용한 체류형 관광 프로그램으로, 관광객들에게 색다른 여행 경험을 제공하기 위해 마련됐다.

행사의 대표 프로그램인 야간 트레킹은 약 3㎞ 구간에서 진행된다. 참가자들은 은은한 조명으로 꾸며진 산책로를 따라 걸으며 시원한 해풍과 밤바다의 정취를 함께 즐길 수 있다.

트레킹 코스 곳곳에는 가족 단위 방문객이 참여할 수 있는 체험 프로그램도 준비된다. 숲속 보물찾기를 비롯해 금붕어 잡기, 달고나 게임, 꽃씨 비행기 날리기 등 다양한 놀이가 운영돼 추억을 쌓을 수 있는 시간을 제공한다.

먹거리 공간도 마련된다. 셀프 화로구이존과 푸드트럭, 지역 특산 먹거리를 선보이는 ‘별파랑 야간포차’가 운영돼 방문객들의 입맛을 사로잡을 예정이다.

행사의 하이라이트인 ‘별파랑 음악회’는 신재생에너지전시관 주차장 일원에서 열린다. 가수 임창정을 비롯해 잠골버스, 박하은 등이 무대에 올라 초여름 밤을 수놓는 공연을 선보일 예정이다.

이번 축제는 지역 산불 피해 복구와 희망 메시지를 담은 ‘영덕 희망 심기 투어’와 연계해 진행된다는 점에서도 의미를 더한다.

‘영덕 희망 심기 투어’는 지난해 경북 지역 대형 산불 이후 훼손된 지역 환경 회복을 위해 마련된 프로그램으로, 참가자들이 직접 진달래를 심으며 지역 재생에 동참하는 활동이다.

영덕군에 따르면 올해 상반기까지 약 1,500명이 해당 프로그램에 참여했으며, 지역과 지속적으로 교류하는 관계 인구 확대에도 긍정적인 역할을 하고 있다.

‘Walking the Starlight at Yeongdeok’ is a stay-type tourism program utilizing Yeongdeok’s night scenery and natural environment, designed to provide tourists with a unique travel experience.

The event’s signature program, night trekking, will take place over a section of approximately 3 km. Participants can walk along a trail decorated with soft lighting, enjoying the cool sea breeze and the atmosphere of the night sea.
