【브레이크뉴스 영덕】박영재 기자=민선 9기 영덕군수직 인수위원회가 11일 공식 출범하고 본격적인 업무 인수 절차에 들어갔다.

인수위원회는 이날 영덕국민체육센터에 사무실을 마련하고 인수위원 15명과 자문위원 6명 등 총 21명에게 위촉장을 수여했다. 위원회는 행정, 경제, 산업, 복지 등 각 분야 실무 전문가들로 구성됐다.

인수위는 오는 15일까지 각 부서로부터 주요 업무 보고를 받으며 올해 주요 사업과 현안 사업, 특수시책 등을 종합적으로 점검할 계획이다.

이를 바탕으로 조주홍 영덕군수 당선인의 정책 공약과 민선 9기 군정 비전을 구체화하고 향후 군정 운영 방향과 발전 전략을 마련하는 데 집중할 방침이다.

이안국 인수위원장은 “이번 인수위원회는 단순한 행정 인수·인계를 넘어 민선 9기 영덕의 미래 100년을 설계하는 첫 단추”라며 “기존 주요 사업의 연속성을 유지해 군정 공백을 최소화하는 한편, 당선인의 핵심 공약이 실효성 있는 정책으로 자리 잡을 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

조주홍 당선인은 “영덕 발전에 도움이 되고 미래 가치가 있는 사업과 정책이라면 중단 없이 이어받아 완성해 나갈 것”이라며 “특히 신규 원전 유치와 적극적인 기업 투자 유치를 통해 영덕의 새로운 성장동력을 창출해 나가겠다”고 강조했다.

한편 인수위원회는 업무보고와 현안 점검을 통해 민선 9기 출범 초기 군정 운영 방향을 정립하고 지역 발전을 위한 중장기 전략 수립에도 나설 예정이다.

Governor-elect Cho Joo-hong emphasized, “If there are projects or policies that contribute to the development of Yeongdeok and hold future value, I will continue to carry them on without interruption and complete them.” He further stated, “In particular, I will create new growth engines for Yeongdeok by attracting a new nuclear power plant and actively seeking corporate investment.”

Meanwhile, the Transition Committee plans to establish the direction of county administration in the early stages of the 9th popular election through work reports and inspections of pending issues, and will also set out to formulate mid-to-long-term strategies for regional development.
