청송군은 청송군 농산물공판장(운영사업자 송원APC)이 지난 12일 2025년산 사과 경매를 마감했으며, 오는 8월 햇사과 출하 시기까지 휴장한다고 밝혔다.
청송군 농산물공판장은 지역 사과 재배 농가들의 오랜 숙원사업으로 추진돼 2019년 11월 경상북도 승인을 받아 문을 열었다. 이후 생산 농가의 판로 확대와 안정적인 유통체계 구축에 중요한 역할을 해오고 있다.
공판장 개설 첫해인 2019년산 사과의 경매 상장 물량은 1,905톤이었으나, 이후 꾸준한 성장세를 이어가며 올해는 1만1,148톤을 기록했다. 이는 개장 당시와 비교해 약 5.8배 증가한 규모다.
