의성군은 지난 4월부터 사회적 고립 위험이 높은 주민들을 대상으로 ‘외출유도용 반찬가게 쿠폰 지원사업’을 운영하고 있다고 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 외부 활동이 적고 사회적 관계망이 취약한 주민들에게 정기적인 외출 기회를 제공해 일상 회복과 사회적 연결을 돕기 위해 마련됐다.
지원 대상은 고독사 위험군과 사회적 고립 우려가 있는 1인 가구 등 총 42명이다. 대상자들에게는 매월 2만 원 상당의 반찬가게 이용 쿠폰이 지급된다.
사업은 의성읍과 안계면에 위치한 지역 반찬가게 4곳과 협력해 진행되며, 올해 12월까지 운영될 예정이다. 대상자들은 지정된 업소를 직접 방문해 쿠폰으로 반찬을 구매할 수 있다.
의성군은 쿠폰 사용 현황을 정기적으로 확인하고 있으며, 사용하지 않은 대상자에 대해서는 안부 확인과 함께 이용을 독려하는 등 추가적인 관리도 병행하고 있다.
특히 이번 사업은 단순한 식생활 지원을 넘어 대상자들이 자연스럽게 외출하고 지역 상인과 교류할 수 있도록 유도하는 데 초점을 맞췄다. 이를 통해 사회적 고립을 완화하고 지역사회와의 연결고리를 회복하는 효과도 기대하고 있다.
군은 앞으로도 고독사 위험군에 대한 지속적인 모니터링과 맞춤형 지원을 통해 사회적 안전망을 더욱 촘촘하게 구축할 방침이다.
김주수 의성군수는 “사회적으로 고립된 주민들에게는 작은 외출 한 번이 일상 회복의 중요한 계기가 될 수 있다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회와 협력해 고독사 예방과 사회적 고립 해소를 위한 다양한 지원사업을 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

The project is being conducted in cooperation with four local side dish shops located in Uiseong-eup and Angye-myeon and is scheduled to run until December of this year. Recipients can visit the designated establishments in person and purchase side dishes using the coupon.
Uiseong County regularly monitors coupon usage and provides additional support to those who have not used them, such as checking on their well-being and encouraging them to use the coupons.
