Keimyung University Expands Cooperation with Specialized High Schools… Strengthening Customized Employment Support for High School Graduates

Keimyung University has set out in earnest to establish an early employment support system for high school graduates by expanding cooperation with local specialized high schools.

The University Job Plus Center at Keimyung University (President Shin Il-hee) announced that it is supporting the smooth entry of local youth into the labor market through an "Early Employment Support Model" that provides customized employment services starting from the high school stage.

To this end, the University Job Plus Center signed business agreements with Gyeongbuk Human Tech High School on May 29 and Myeongin High School on June 12. The agreements were established to ensure the smooth operation of the "Customized Employment Service Project for High School Students" promoted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

The purpose of these agreements is to enhance the employment competitiveness of high school graduates by providing systematic employment services tailored to each student's career path and capabilities, and to establish a sustainable career and employment support system through linkages between the university and high schools. Under the agreement, the participating institutions will cooperate in various fields, including establishing a customized employment service network for high school students, jointly developing and operating career and job support programs, and identifying excellent companies to facilitate tailored job placements.

In particular, the plan focuses on supporting students so they can systematically explore career paths and prepare for employment while still enrolled in school, and on expanding practical employment opportunities through partnerships with local industries.

Choi Hae-woon, Director of the Keimyung University Job Plus Center, stated, "Through this agreement, high school students will be able to experience systematic employment services starting from the school stage," adding, "We expect this to provide practical assistance with career planning and job preparation."

He further stated, "We will continue to expand university-level support to help local youth stably enter the labor market and grow into key talents who will lead future industries."

Meanwhile, the Keimyung University Job Plus Center is participating in the Ministry of Employment and Labor's various initiatives, including the University Job Plus Center project, the customized employment service project for university and high school students, the specialized program project for graduates, and the Job First Step Guarantee Center project. Based on this, it is strengthening its role as a community-centered integrated employment support platform by expanding the scope of support to include not only current students and graduates but also local high school students and unemployed youth.
