【브레이크뉴스 의성】이성현 기자=의성군이 경상북도가 실시한 ‘2026년(2025년 실적) 시군평가’에서 군부 대상을 수상하며 5년 연속 군부 1위에 오르는 성과를 거뒀다.
경상북도 시군평가는 국정과 도정 주요 시책의 추진 실적을 종합적으로 점검하는 제도로, 올해는 정량지표 88개와 정성지표 12개를 대상으로 평가가 진행됐다.
의성군은 평가 전담 조직 운영과 정기적인 실적 점검, 보고회 개최 등 체계적인 성과관리 체계를 구축해 행정 역량을 강화해 왔다. 그 결과 정량평가에서는 전체 88개 지표 가운데 76개를 달성해 86.36%의 달성률을 기록했으며, 정성평가에서도 3개 지표가 우수사례로 선정돼 군부 최고 평가를 받았다.
특히 지역먹거리계획 추진실적 A등급 획득, 신기술제품 우선구매율 목표 달성, 가족센터 온가족 보듬서비스 지원실적 달성 등 다른 군 지역의 평균 달성률이 절반에도 미치지 못한 고난도 지표에서 우수한 성과를 거둔 점이 높은 평가를 이끌어냈다.
군은 이번 수상이 단순한 평가 결과를 넘어 군민 중심 행정과 지속적인 정책 추진의 성과가 객관적으로 인정받은 결과라고 설명했다.
김주수 의성군수는 “5년 연속 군부 대상이라는 성과는 군민들의 관심과 성원, 그리고 공직자들의 헌신적인 노력이 함께 만들어낸 값진 결과”라며 “행정의 수준을 가늠하는 시군평가에서 꾸준히 좋은 성적을 거둔 만큼 앞으로도 군민 행복과 지역 발전을 최우선에 두고 행정서비스 향상에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
한편 의성군은 앞으로도 군민이 체감할 수 있는 행정 혁신과 지역 경쟁력 강화를 통해 지속가능한 성장 기반 마련에 행정력을 집중할 방침이다.
