‘대구·경북 사이버보안 심포지엄 2026(DGCS 2026)’이 지난 25일 호텔인터불고 대구 본관 즐거운홀에서 성황리에 개최됐다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 국가정보원 지부와 대구광역시, 경상북도, 한국가스공사, 한국도로공사, 한국수력원자력이 공동 주최하고, (재)대구디지털혁신진흥원, (재)포항테크노파크, (사)대경ICT산업협회가 공동 주관했다.

행사는 AI 기반 기술 확산과 디지털 전환으로 고도화되는 사이버 위협에 선제적으로 대응하고, 지역 공공기관 및 출자·출연기관, 사이버보안 담당자의 실무 역량과 대응 체계를 강화하기 위해 마련됐다.

특히 올해 심포지엄에서는 생성형 AI 확산에 따른 보안 패러다임 변화가 핵심 의제로 다뤄졌다. AI 활용이 공공업무 전반으로 확장되고 AX 혁신과 Physical AI가 산업 현장으로 연결되면서 정보보호의 범위가 단순 침해 대응을 넘어 데이터, 인프라, 시스템 전반으로 확대되고 있다는 점이 강조됐다.

전문가 세션에서는 연세대학교 김범수 교수가 기조강연을 맡아 ‘AI 시대, 사이버보안 패러다임 전환과 대응 전략’을 주제로 발표를 진행했다. 김 교수는 AI 기술 발전이 보안 환경에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 기관 및 기업의 대응 방향을 제시했다.

부대행사로는 ‘대구·경북 사이버공격 방어대회 2026’이 함께 열렸다. CTF(CTF: Capture the Flag) 방식으로 진행된 이번 대회에는 학생과 공공기관 재직자 등이 참여해 제한된 시간 내 문제 해결을 통해 실전형 보안 역량을 겨뤘다.

참석자들은 생성형 AI 보안, 공공기관 대응 사례, Physical AI 등 최신 이슈가 실무 중심으로 구성된 점에서 높은 만족도를 보였으며, 실제 업무 적용 가능성이 높았다는 평가가 이어졌다.
