대구보건대학교(총장 남성희)는 보건행정학과가 한국보건의료정보관리교육평가원이 실시한 ‘2025년 2주기 보건의료정보관리교육 평가·인증’에서 인증을 획득했다고 밝혔다. 이번 인증의 적용 기간은 2027년 3월 1일부터 2032년 2월 29일까지 5년이다.
보건의료정보관리교육 평가·인증 제도는 교육과정이 성과 중심 체계를 갖추고 있는지와 교육 품질 관리 및 개선 시스템이 안정적으로 운영되는지를 종합적으로 평가하는 제도다.
보건행정학과는 이번 평가에서 6개 필수항목과 55개 정규항목 등 총 61개 평가 기준을 모두 충족하며 교육과정 운영 전반에서 우수성을 인정받았다. 특히 교육과정 설계와 성과 관리, 학생 지원 체계, 지속적인 교육 품질 개선 노력 등에서 높은 평가를 받은 것으로 전해졌다.
1974년 설립된 대구보건대학교 보건행정학과는 지난 52년간 4,023명의 전문 인력을 배출하며 보건의료 분야 인재 양성의 기반을 다져왔다. 최근에는 보건의료 빅데이터 분석과 활용 역량을 강화한 교육과정을 운영하며 변화하는 의료 환경에 대응할 수 있는 실무형 인재 양성에 주력하고 있다.
