우선 농어촌 기본소득 시범사업을 지역 활력 회복의 핵심 정책으로 추진한다. 군은 기본소득 지급 규모를 확대하기 위해 군비를 추가 반영할 계획이며, 이를 통해 인구 유입과 지역 소비 활성화는 물론 군민 생활 안정과 공동체 회복에도 긍정적인 효과를 기대하고 있다.

농업 분야에서는 기후변화에 대응하는 스마트 농업 기반을 확대하고 청송사과의 경쟁력을 한층 강화한다. 미래형 사과 과원 조성, 스마트 영농체계 구축, 병해충 공동방제 확대, 농약 구입비 지원, 농축산물 가격안정기금 확충 등을 통해 안정적인 영농환경을 조성하고 청년농과 귀농인의 정착 기반도 마련할 계획이다.
