경주시는 1일 서라벌문화회관에서 시민 600여 명이 참석한 가운데 민선9기 출범식과 취임식을 개최했다고 밝혔다. 행사에서는 시민대표 9명이 참여한 비전 퍼포먼스를 통해 새로운 시정 방향을 공유했다.

주 시장은 취임식에 앞서 황성공원 충혼탑을 참배한 뒤 도시바람길숲에서 식수 행사를 진행하며 민선9기 출범의 의미를 더했다.

이날 취임식에는 주낙영 시장과 배우자 김은미 여사가 시민들의 환호 속에 입장했으며, 경주시청 어린이집 원아들이 꽃다발을 전달해 현장 분위기를 더욱 따뜻하게 만들었다.

행사는 식전 공연을 시작으로 국민의례, 내빈 소개, 축사, 취임 인사, 비전 퍼포먼스, 시립합창단 축하공연 순으로 진행되며 시민과 함께하는 시정 출범의 의미를 강조했다.
