【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구보건대학교 L-라이프산업지원센터는 지난 8일 대구 수성구에 위치한 '륜'에서 지역 커피산업의 경쟁력 강화와 산학연관 협력체계 구축을 위한 ‘커피산업 고도화 추진위원회’를 개최했다고 9일 밝혔다.

이번 회의는 앵커(지역성장 인재양성체계) 사업의 일환으로 마련됐다. 회의에는 대구보건대 호텔제과제빵학과 교수진과 사업 관계자, 대구커피협회, 커피명가, 던시티, 엘씨로스팅랩 등 관계자 13명이 참석했다.

참석자들은 1차년도 사업 추진 결과를 점검하고, 2차년도 운영 계획을 공유했다. 또 산업 현장의 수요를 반영한 교육과 기업 지원 방안에 대해서도 논의했다.

주요 안건으로는 재직자와 구직자를 위한 로스팅 전문교육 확대, 취업·창업 지원 프로그램 운영, 산학협력 강화, 지역 커피산업 경쟁력 제고 방안 등이 제시됐다.

대구보건대는 앞으로 산업계 의견을 교육과정과 기업 지원 프로그램에 적극 반영해 현장 중심의 전문 인력을 양성하고, 지역 커피산업의 지속 가능한 성장 기반을 마련할 계획이다.

최선영 DHC앵커사업단장은 “지역 산업의 경쟁력을 높이려면 대학과 산업체가 꾸준히 소통하며 발전 방향을 함께 고민해야 한다”며 “현장의 다양한 목소리를 교육과 지원 프로그램에 적극 반영해, 지역 커피산업 발전에 힘을 보태겠다”고 말했다.

Key agenda items presented included expanding specialized roasting training for employees and job seekers, operating employment and startup support programs, strengthening industry-academia cooperation, and measures to enhance the competitiveness of the local coffee industry. Daegu Health College plans to actively incorporate industry feedback into its curriculum and corporate support programs to cultivate field-oriented professionals and establish a foundation for the sustainable growth of the local coffee industry.

Choi Seon-young, Head of the DHC Anchor Project Group, stated, “To enhance the competitiveness of local industries, universities and companies must communicate consistently and deliberate together on directions for development.” She added, “We will contribute to the development of the local coffee industry by actively reflecting diverse voices from the field in our education and support programs.”
