【브레이크뉴스 경북】진예솔 기자=더불어민주당 경상북도당이 구미지역 경선을 끝으로 도내 13개 지역위원회 위원장 인선을 모두 마쳤다.
경북도당은 지난달 29일 열린 제33차 당무위원회에서 △포항북구 오중기 △포항남·울릉 박희정 △김천 황태성 △안동·예천 윤동춘 △영주·영양·봉화 박규환 △상주·문경 이윤희 △경산 김기현 △의성·청송·영덕·울진 임미애 △고령·성주·칠곡 정석원 씨를 각 지역위원장으로 확정했다.
구미지역의 경우, 7일부터 이틀간 치러진 경선을 통해 구미갑에는 이영규, 구미을에는 김득환 후보가 각각 지역위원장으로 선출됐다.
또한 최고위원회는 영천·청도 지역에 정우동 후보, 경주 지역에는 김용관 후보를 각각 지역위원회 직무대행으로 임명했다.
이번 인선으로 경북도당은 13개 지역위원회 조직 구성을 마무리하고, 내년 지방선거를 앞두고 조직 정비와 지역 현안 대응에 박차를 가할 계획이다.
한편 경북도당은 오는 8월 9일 대구 인터불고 엑스코 그랜드볼룸에서 도당 개편대회를 개최해 차기 도당위원장을 선출할 방침이다. 이어 8월 17일 중앙당 전국당원대회에서는 당 대표와 최고위원 등 새 지도부를 선출할 예정이다.

In the Gumi region, Lee Young-gyu was elected as the regional committee chairperson for Gumi Gap and Kim Deuk-hwan for Gumi Eul through a primary election held over two days starting on the 7th.
Additionally, the Supreme Council appointed Jeong Woo-dong for the Yeongcheon-Cheongdo region and Kim Yong-gwan for the Gyeongju region as acting regional committee chairpersons. With this personnel reshuffle, the North Gyeongsang Provincial Party has finalized the organization of its 13 regional committees and plans to accelerate organizational restructuring and responses to local pending issues ahead of next year's local elections.
Meanwhile, the North Gyeongsang Provincial Party intends to hold a reorganization convention on August 9 at the Interbulgo EXCO Grand Ballroom in Daegu to elect the next provincial party chairman. Following this, the party plans to elect a new leadership, including the party representative and supreme council members, at the central party's national convention on August 17.
