【브레이크뉴스 경산】진예솔 기자=경산시의회(의장 김인수)가 9일 의회 운영위원회 회의실에서 의원 역량 강화를 위한 전문교육을 진행했다.

이번 교육은 제10대 경산시의회가 개원한 이후 처음 마련된 것으로, 의원들의 의정활동 전문성을 높이고 실무 능력을 키우기 위해 준비됐다. 

교육은 '의정실무'와 '예산실무 및 정책지원관 제도 안내'를 주제로 총 3시간 동안 이어졌다. 상임위원회 운영과 회의 절차, 조례안 입안과 심사, 행정사무감사와 조사, 예산 및 결산 심사 등 의정활동 전반에 대한 실무 교육이 이뤄졌으며, 정책지원관 제도의 역할과 활용 방안에 대한 설명도 함께 진행됐다.

김인수 의장은 “의정활동의 전문성과 책임성은 꾸준한 학습과 연구에서 비롯된다”며 “이번 교육을 통해 얻은 지식과 경험을 바탕으로 시민 기대에 부응하는 알찬 의정활동을 펼치겠다”고 밝혔다.

경산시의회는 앞으로도 분야별 전문 강사를 초빙해 교육과 연구활동을 지속적으로 추진할 계획이다. 시의회는 이를 통해 의원들의 정책 역량과 전문성을 높이고, 시민 중심의 책임 있는 의정활동을 실천하겠다고 전했다.

The Gyeongsan City Council (Chairperson Kim In-soo) held a specialized training session to enhance the capabilities of its members on the 9th at the Council Steering Committee meeting room.

This training, the first of its kind since the opening of the 10th Gyeongsan City Council, was designed to improve the professionalism of the members' legislative activities and cultivate their practical skills.

The session lasted for a total of three hours, covering the themes of "Legislative Practice" and "Budget Practice and Guide to the Policy Support Officer System." Practical training was provided on overall legislative activities, including the operation of standing committees and meeting procedures, the drafting and review of ordinances, administrative audits and investigations, and the review of budgets and settlements. The session also included an explanation of the role and utilization of the Policy Support Officer system.

Chairperson Kim In-soo stated, "Professionalism and accountability in legislative activities stem from continuous learning and research," adding, "Based on the knowledge and experience gained through this training, we will carry out substantial legislative activities that meet the expectations of citizens."

The Gyeongsan City Council plans to continue promoting educational and research activities by inviting expert lecturers in various fields. The City Council stated that through this, it would enhance the policy capabilities and expertise of its members and practice responsible, citizen-centered legislative activities.
