【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=한국건강관리협회가 보건복지부, 중앙사회서비스원과 사회서비스 종사자의 건강 보호와 안전한 근무환경 조성을 위한 협력체계를 구축했다.
한국건강관리협회는 지난 9일 중앙사회서비스원 본원에서 보건복지부, 중앙사회서비스원과 '사회서비스 종사자 건강 보호 및 안전한 서비스 환경 조성을 위한 업무협약'을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
협약식에는 은성호 보건복지부 인구·사회서비스정책실장과 강혜규 중앙사회서비스원장, 강위중 한국건강관리협회 사무총장 등 관계자들이 참석했다.
이번 협약은 사회서비스 현장에서 근무하는 종사자들의 건강관리를 지원하고, 마약류 검사를 포함한 검진체계를 마련해 서비스 이용자의 안전과 신뢰를 높이기 위해 추진됐다.
협약에 따라 지역자율형 사회서비스 투자사업 종사자와 중앙사회서비스원 소속 인력 등 약 4만 명을 대상으로 건강검진 지원이 이뤄진다. 지원 대상은 지역사회서비스 투자사업, 일상돌봄 서비스, 가사·간병 방문지원, 긴급돌봄 지원사업 등 4개 분야 종사자이며, 마약류 검사와 국가건강검진, 종합건강검진 우대서비스를 받을 수 있다.
은성호 보건복지부 인구·사회서비스정책실장은 "사회서비스 종사자의 건강은 국민에게 제공되는 서비스의 품질과 안전에 중요한 요소"라며 "이번 협약이 현장 종사자의 건강관리와 검사 부담 완화에 도움이 되길 바란다"고 말했다.
강혜규 중앙사회서비스원장은 "현장 종사자의 건강관리와 안전한 서비스 환경 조성을 위한 협력 체계를 마련했다"며 "앞으로도 현장의 의견을 반영해 종사자 지원과 서비스 품질 향상을 위해 노력하겠다"고 밝혔다.
강위중 한국건강관리협회 사무총장은 "전국 17개 지부의 건강검진 인프라를 활용해 사회서비스 종사자들이 보다 편리하게 검진을 받을 수 있도록 지원하겠다"고 말했다.
한편 한국건강관리협회는 국가유공자와 취약계층 건강검진 지원, 지역사회 건강증진사업 등 다양한 공익사업을 추진하고 있다.

The Korea Health Management Association (KHMA) has established a cooperative framework with the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Social Service Agency to protect the health of social service workers and create a safe working environment.
The KHMA announced that it signed a "Memorandum of Understanding for the Health Protection of Social Service Workers and the Creation of a Safe Service Environment" with the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Social Service Agency at the agency's headquarters on the 9th.
Officials attending the signing ceremony included Eun Seong-ho, Director General of the Population and Social Service Policy Office at the Ministry of Health and Welfare; Kang Hye-gyu, President of the Korea Social Service Agency; and Kang Wi-jung, Secretary General of the KHMA.
This agreement was pursued to support the health management of workers in the social service field and to enhance the safety and trust of service users by establishing a screening system that includes narcotic drug testing.
Under the agreement, health checkups will be provided to approximately 40,000 individuals, including workers in the Regional Autonomous Social Service Investment Project and personnel affiliated with the Korea Social Service Agency. The beneficiaries of this support are workers in four fields: community service investment projects, daily care services, home care and nursing visit support, and emergency care support projects. They are eligible for preferential services regarding drug testing, national health checkups, and comprehensive health checkups.
Eun Seong-ho, Deputy Minister for Population and Social Services Policy at the Ministry of Health and Welfare, stated, "The health of social service workers is a critical factor in the quality and safety of services provided to the public," adding, "I hope this agreement will help manage the health of field workers and alleviate the burden of testing."
Kang Hye-gyu, President of the National Social Service Agency, said, "We have established a cooperative system to manage the health of field workers and create a safe service environment," and added, "We will continue to reflect feedback from the field to support workers and improve service quality."
Kang Wi-jung, Secretary General of the Korea Health Management Association, stated, "We will utilize the health checkup infrastructure of our 17 branches nationwide to support social service workers so they can receive checkups more conveniently." Meanwhile, the Korea Health Management Association is carrying out various public interest projects, such as supporting health checkups for national merit recipients and vulnerable groups, and community health promotion programs.
