영덕군은 경북 공무원노동조합연맹이 지난 13일 군청을 방문해 조 군수의 취임을 축하하고, 군민 중심의 현장 행정을 응원하는 뜻을 담아 신발을 전달했다고 밝혔다.

이번에 전달된 신발은 군민과 가까운 현장에서 발로 뛰는 행정을 실천해 달라는 의미를 담고 있다. 조 군수도 지난 1일 취임식에서 신발 끈을 묶는 퍼포먼스를 선보이며 현장 중심의 군정을 펼치겠다는 의지를 밝힌 바 있다.

조주홍 영덕군수는 "양질의 행정서비스는 노사 간 신뢰와 원활한 소통에서 시작된다"며 "공직자들이 보람과 자부심을 느끼며 일할 수 있는 조직문화를 만드는 데 힘쓰겠다"고 밝혔다.
