군에 따르면 오는 17일부터 병곡면 고래불해수욕장을 비롯해 영해면 대진해수욕장, 남정면 장사해수욕장, 경정해수욕장, 오보·하저·남호해수욕장 등 모두 7개 해수욕장이 동시에 문을 연다.

고래불해수욕장은 약 8㎞에 이르는 백사장으로 잘 알려져 있으며, 장사해수욕장은 호국 역사와 소나무 숲이 어우러진 경관을 갖추고 있다. 경정해수욕장은 그룹 BTS의 뮤직비디오 촬영지로 알려져 있으며, 오보·하저·남호해수욕장은 비교적 수심이 얕아 가족 단위 방문객이 많이 찾는 곳이다.
