【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구보건대학교와 대구시교육청이 공동 운영한 고교 맞춤형 인성교육 ‘함께 만들어가는 세상(함만세)’ 프로그램이 지난 7월 종료됐다. 학생과 교사 모두 높은 만족도를 보였다.

대구보건대학교는 올해 3월부터 7월까지 대구시교육청 생활인성교육과와 함께 대구 지역 고등학생을 대상으로 ‘함께 만들어가는 세상(함만세)’ 프로그램을 실시했다고 21일 밝혔다.  

이번 프로그램에는 일반고 6곳, 특성화고 9곳 등 모두 15개 고교, 140개 학급에서 총 3,228명의 학생이 참여했다.

교육은 ▲자기 이해와 타인 존중 ▲신뢰 기반 협력 ▲나와 우리에 대한 책임 ▲직업 전문인 성장 등 4가지 주제로 꾸려졌으며, 학생들이 직접 참여하는 활동 형식으로 진행됐다.

프로그램 종료 후 실시한 만족도 조사 결과, 학생들은 “자기 이해와 협력 활동을 통해 자존감과 공동체 의식이 높아졌고, 진로와 직업윤리에 대해 고민할 수 있는 기회였다”고 응답했다. 교사들도 교육 내용과 운영 방식에 대해 높은 만족도를 보이며 학교 현장에서 실질적으로 도움이 되는 프로그램이라는 평가를 내놨다.

윤영순 대구보건대학교 융합교양교육원장은 “인성교육은 학생들의 성장 과정에서 꼭 필요하다”며, “앞으로도 지역 고등학교와 협력해 공동체 의식과 직업윤리를 갖춘 미래 인재 양성에 힘쓰겠다”고 전했다.

대구보건대학교는 앞으로도 대구시교육청과 협력해 학교 현장 수요를 반영한 맞춤형 인성교육 프로그램을 확대할 계획이다. 학생들의 올바른 인성과 실천 역량을 기르는 데 최선을 다할 방침이다.

The "Creating a World Together" (Hammanse) program, a character education tailored for high school students jointly operated by Daegu Health College and the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education, concluded last July. Both students and teachers expressed high levels of satisfaction.

According to the results of a satisfaction survey conducted after the program concluded, students responded, "Through self-understanding and cooperation activities, my self-esteem and sense of community increased, and it was an opportunity to reflect on my career path and professional ethics." Teachers also expressed high satisfaction with the educational content and operational methods, evaluating the program as one that provides practical help in the school setting.

Yoon Young-soon, Director of the Convergence Liberal Arts Education Center at Daegu Health College, stated, “Character education is essential for students’ growth,” adding, “We will continue to cooperate with local high schools to strive for the cultivation of future talent equipped with a sense of community and professional ethics.”

Daegu Health College plans to continue expanding customized character education programs that reflect the needs of the school field in cooperation with the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education.
