청송군은 식품의약품안전처의 위생평가를 거쳐 지역 일반음식점 3개소가 식품안심업소로 선정됐다고 22일 밝혔다.
식품안심업소는 일반음식점과 휴게음식점, 제과점 등을 대상으로 위생관리 수준을 평가해 우수 업소를 지정하는 제도다. 기존 '음식점 위생등급제' 명칭이 식품안심업소로 변경되면서 소비자가 위생관리 우수업소를 보다 쉽게 확인할 수 있도록 개선됐다.
이번에 지정된 업소는 주왕산가든, 농가맛집두연, 청송영양축산농협 한우프라자 등 3곳이다. 지정 업소에는 식품안심업소 인증 현판이 부착되며, 정기적인 위생 점검과 사후관리를 통해 위생 수준을 지속적으로 유지하게 된다.
청송군은 앞으로 식품안심업소를 꾸준히 확대해 지역 외식업소의 자율적인 위생관리 문화를 정착시키고, 군민과 관광객 모두가 안심하고 이용할 수 있는 외식환경 조성에 힘쓸 방침이다.
윤경희 청송군수는 "식품안심업소 확대는 지역을 찾는 방문객과 군민 모두에게 신뢰할 수 있는 외식환경을 제공하는 데 의미가 있다"며 "위생 수준이 우수한 업소를 지속적으로 발굴하고 지원해 안전한 먹거리 문화가 정착될 수 있도록 노력하겠다"고 말했다.
