【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=국민의힘 장동혁 대표가 25일 대구를 찾아 ‘참정권 회복 민주주의 수호 국민결의대회’에 참석했다. 장 대표는 이 자리에서 선거제도 개혁과 특검 추진의 필요성을 다시 한번 강조했다.

또한 장 대표는 중앙선거관리위원회를 향해 “전산 조작이 불가능하다고 했지만 실제로 투표율 조작 문제가 제기됐고, 이에 따라 선관위 서버에 대한 압수수색도 이뤄졌다”고 지적했다. 그러면서 “국민이 신뢰할 수 있는 선거제도 개혁과 책임자 규명이 필요하다”고 말했다.

장 대표는 법원의 압수수색 영장 발부 범위도 언급하며 “국민이 사법 절차까지 함께 지켜봐야 한다”며 “특검을 통해 책임자 처벌, 선관위 개혁, 선거제도 개선을 동시에 이뤄내야 한다”고 강조했다.

그는 “50일 넘게 광장에서 목소리를 내온 시민들이 역사의 절반을 썼다”며 “이제 나머지 절반도 함께 채워 대한민국 민주주의를 제대로 바로잡아야 한다”고 말했다.

연설을 마치며 “역시 대구답게 큰 힘을 보여줬다”며 참석자들에게 감사를 전했고, “마지막까지 힘을 모아달라”고 당부했다.

한편, 이번 결의대회는 국민의힘이 전국 순회 형식으로 진행 중인 ‘참정권 회복 민주주의 수호 국민결의대회’의 일환으로 열렸다. 행사에는 국민의힘 관계자와 지지자들이 함께해 선거제도 개선과 특검 추진을 촉구했다.
