【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구한의대학교가 대구광역시교육청의 위탁을 받아 대구 지역 영양교사와 영양사를 대상으로 직무연수를 운영했다. 이번 연수는 학교급식의 전문성 강화를 목적으로 마련됐으며, 유치원부터 고등학교까지 다양한 학교 현장에서 근무하는 영양교사와 영양사 80여 명이 참여해 우수사례를 공유하고 현장 적용 방안을 함께 고민했다.

대구한의대는 지난 3~4일과 17~18일 두 차례에 걸쳐 충북 청남대 나라사랑교육문화원에서 직무연수를 진행했다고 밝혔다. 이번 연수는 대구시교육청이 위탁해 마련됐으며, 영양교사와 영양사들의 학교급식 전문성 제고와 더불어, 상호 소통과 협업 능력을 높이기 위해 마련됐다.

참가자들은 학교급식 운영에 관한 우수사례를 공유하고, 실제 현장에서 적용할 수 있는 다양한 방안에 대해 토의했다. 또 역사·문화 탐방, 생태체험, 마음챙김 프로그램 등 다양한 체험을 통해 공동체 의식을 높이고, 심리적 회복과 소통 능력을 기르는 시간도 가졌다.

대구한의대학교는 이번 연수를 통해 학교급식 현장에서 활용 가능한 영양교육과 상담 역량을 키우고, 영양교사와 영양사 간 협력 체계를 강화하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있다.

강은희 대구광역시교육감은 “이번 연수가 서로 배우고 공감하며 함께 성장하는 계기가 돼 건강한 학교공동체를 만들고, 학생들의 건강한 성장을 지원하는 밑거름이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.

공현주 대구한의대 식품영양학과 교수 역시 “현장의 다양한 경험과 우수사례를 공유하면서 영양교사와 영양사들이 함께 성장하는 의미 있는 시간이 되도록 연수를 운영했다”며 “앞으로도 학교급식의 질 향상과 전문성 강화를 위한 교육 프로그램을 지속적으로 마련하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Daegu Hani University conducted professional development training for nutrition teachers and dietitians in the Daegu region, commissioned by the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education. Commissioned by the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education, the program was organized to improve the expertise of nutrition teachers and dietitians in school meals, as well as to enhance their communication and collaboration skills.

Participants shared best practices regarding school meal operations and discussed various methods applicable in the field. They also spent time fostering a sense of community, psychological recovery, and communication skills through various experiences, including history and culture tours, ecological experiences, and mindfulness programs. Daegu Hani University expects that this training will contribute to fostering nutrition education and counseling capabilities applicable in the school meal service field, as well as strengthening the cooperative system between nutrition teachers and dietitians.

Kang Eun-hee, Superintendent of the Office of Education for Daegu Metropolitan City, stated, "I hope this training serves as an opportunity for mutual learning, empathy, and shared growth, acting as a foundation to build a healthy school community and support the healthy growth of students."

Gong Hyun-ju, a professor in the Department of Food and Nutrition at Daegu Hani University, also remarked, "We conducted this training to ensure it was a meaningful time for nutrition teachers and dietitians to grow together by sharing diverse field experiences and best practices." She added, "We will continue to develop educational programs to improve the quality of school meals and enhance professionalism."
