【브레이크뉴스 영덕】박영재 기자=영덕군이 청년 1인 가구 증가에 대응해 사회적 고립을 예방하고 심리적 안정을 돕기 위해 마련한 ‘청년 마음충전소’ 프로그램을 성공적으로 마무리했다.

군은 지역에 거주하거나 직장을 둔 20~30대 청년 20명을 대상으로 지난 6월부터 7월까지 총 8회에 걸쳐 프로그램을 운영했다고 밝혔다.

이번 프로그램은 다양한 체험활동을 함께하며 또래 청년들이 자연스럽게 관계를 형성하고 소통할 수 있도록 기획됐다.

참가자들은 퍼스널 컬러 진단을 비롯해 도자기와 접시 만들기, 제스모나이트 화병 제작, 볼링, 라탄 무드등 만들기, 꽃꽂이, 글라스아트 썬캐처 제작 등 다양한 문화·취미 활동에 참여하며 교류의 시간을 가졌다.

프로그램이 진행될수록 참가자들은 서로 친밀감을 쌓고 활발한 소통을 이어가는 모습을 보였으며, 높은 참여율과 함께 사회적 관계 형성은 물론 정서적 안정에도 긍정적인 효과를 거둔 것으로 평가됐다.

영덕군은 이번 프로그램이 청년들의 심리적 회복력을 높이고 지역사회 안에서 안정적인 관계망을 형성하는 데 도움이 된 것으로 보고, 앞으로도 청년들의 다양한 수요를 반영한 지원사업을 지속적으로 추진할 계획이다.

조주홍 영덕군수는 “이번 프로그램이 청년들이 지역에서 외로움이나 고립감을 덜고 서로에게 긍정적인 영향을 주며 함께 성장하는 계기가 되길 바란다”며 “청년들이 영덕에 안정적으로 정착해 꿈을 펼칠 수 있도록 실질적인 맞춤형 지원을 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

Yeongdeok County has successfully concluded the ‘Youth Mind Recharge Station’ program, which was designed to prevent social isolation and promote psychological stability in response to the rise in youth single-person households.

The county announced that it operated the program over a total of eight sessions from June to July, targeting 20 young adults in their 20s and 30s who reside or work in the region.

The program was designed to allow young adults of the same age to naturally form relationships and communicate through various shared experiential activities.

Participants spent time interacting while engaging in a variety of cultural and hobby activities, including personal color analysis, pottery and plate making, Jesmonite vase making, bowling, rattan mood lamp making, flower arranging, and glass art suncatcher making.

As the program progressed, participants were seen building intimacy with one another and maintaining active communication. The program was evaluated as having achieved positive effects not only on social relationship formation but also on emotional stability, along with a high participation rate. Yeongdeok County believes that this program helped enhance the psychological resilience of young people and fostered stable relationships within the local community, and plans to continue implementing support projects that reflect the diverse needs of youth.

Yeongdeok County Governor Jo Joo-hong stated, “I hope this program serves as an opportunity for young people to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation in the region, positively influence one another, and grow together,” adding, “We will expand practical, customized support to help young people settle stably in Yeongdeok and realize their dreams.”
