【브레이크뉴스 경산】진예솔 기자=경산시의회 예산결산특별위원회(위원장 김주홍)가 7월 30일 2026년도 제2회 추가경정예산안을 심사해 총 1조 5,724억 원 규모로 의결했다. 이번 추경 예산은 지난해보다 652억 원(4.3%) 늘어난 것으로, 지역경제 활성화와 시민편의 증진 사업에 중점을 뒀다.

추경안 회계별 규모를 보면, 일반회계가 1조 3,977억 원으로 582억 원 증액됐으며, 공기업 특별회계는 1,365억 원(40억 원 증액), 기타 특별회계는 382억 원(30억 원 증액)으로 각각 늘어났다.

이번 추경에서는 민생 예산이 대폭 반영됐다. 시내버스 비수익 노선 손실보상금 64억 원, 경산사랑카드 인센티브 보전금 71억 원, 대중교통비 환급 지원 13억 원 등이 주요 증액 사업으로 포함됐다. 또한 진량 하이패스 IC 설치공사(25억 원), 하양 남하소하천 정비공사(13억 원), 농작물재해보험료 지원(13억 원) 등 지역 교통과 농업 분야 예산도 함께 늘어났다.

예결특위는 이번 추경 심사에 대해 “경기 침체와 물가 상승 등으로 어려움을 겪는 시민들의 부담을 덜기 위해 각 사업의 타당성과 효과성을 꼼꼼히 살펴봤다”고 설명했다.

김주홍 예결특위 위원장은 “어려운 경제 여건 속에서 예산이 시민에게 실질적으로 도움이 될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”며 “이번 추경이 민생 안정과 지역경제 회복에 힘이 되기를 바란다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 이번 제2회 추가경정예산안은 7월 31일 열리는 경산시의회 임시회 제2차 본회의에서 최종 확정될 예정이다.
